Almost everyone hates doing the accounts (except accountants, I suppose). While you may still want to hire an accountant to help with year-ends and filing taxes, you can easily do invoices, enter receipts, keep track of HST, and more on your own. The best solution I have found is Freshbooks, a cloud system that is simple to use but can be extended in many ways, and has fabulous support.
